water taste
Taste in water can be caused by foreign matter, such as organic compounds, inorganic salts or dissolved gases. These materials may come from domestic, agricultural or natural sources. Some substances found naturally in groundwater, while not necessarily harmful, may impart a disagreeable taste or undesirable property to the water. Magnesium sulphate, sodium sulphate, and sodium chloride are but a few of these. Acceptable waters should be free from any objectionable taste at point of use. (Source: CORBIT)

17 капля камень долбит
капля <и> камень долбит (точит)посл.a drop of water can wear away a stone; drop by drop (constant dropping) wears (will wear) < away> the stone; cf. little strokes fell great oaks; small rain lays great dust- А я не понимаю, как об этом можно молчать? Я же ничего другого сделать не могу! Вот и долблю... - Помолчала и жалобно добавила: - Ведь и капля камень долбит. (Г. Николаева, Повесть о директоре МТС и главном агрономе) — 'And I can't see how I can be silent about it,' she replied. 'There's nothing else I can do, you know. And so I go on hammering.' She paused, and then added dolefully: 'Even a drop wears down a rock.'
(И. Грекова, Кафедра) — According to the existing rules a student cannot take the same exam more than twice - after that the question of expelling the student arises. But the dean's office, as we know, hates losing students. So it sends him back 'by way of an exception', time after time. A drop of water can wear away a stone. You think about it and taking this into consideration give him a 'three'.
